Categories are GROUPER, HOGFISH, LOBSTER, AMBERJACK, COBIA/BARRACUDA, SNAPPER, and SHEEPSHEAD. 

Special Division trophies for Women, Juniors, and Freediver.

   The St. Pete Open is a big fish tournament.  Trophies go to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers in each category.  All participants go to the prize table only once for their fish placement, then they are eliminated from consideration and the next largest fish in the next category earns a trip to the table until all participants weighing in legal fish have taken a trip to the table.  The remaining prizes will be awarded by drawing mystery tickets until the prize table is empty. You only need to weigh your biggest fish in each category.  Keep your fish.  Weigh in a fish and you WILL go to the prize table.  Mystery tickets are given to each entrant at registration or weigh-in.  After the third round of prize picks, a mystery ticket will be drawn at the end of each subsequent round.  So you can win more than one trip to the table.  

Also, as this tournament is held at the Holiday Inn Sunspree Resort, they ask that you respect the policies of the resort as well as local laws, and purchase all alcoholic beverages at the resort. There will be a beer truck and servers for your convenience.
